What to Expect
These guided sessions are designed to switch on your parasympathetic nervous system, putting your body into a resting, healing state.
We focus on different breathing techniques, some slow, some a little deeper but the aim is to bring you to state of peacefulness and calm that will continue to flow through the rest of your day and longer.
What to Bring
- Mats, bolsters and blankets are provided but you are also welcome to bring your own
- Please wear comfortable clothes and avoid eating a large meal before hand
- Please bring a water bottle
- Arrive 10 mins before the session start time
Suitability for this Class
This class is designed to calm your nervous system and put you into a resting state. However please let me know if you have any of the following conditions before the start of the class:
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Mental Illness (e.g. Schizophrenia, Bipolar)
- Eye problems (e.g. Glaucoma, detached retina)
- Cardiovascular disorders (e.g. aneurysms, stents, angina, strokes etc)
- Recent surgery
- Seizure disorders
Additional information
- If you have asthma please bring your inhaler
- Pregnant women are advised against practicing Breathwork without approval from their GP
